Project {365} January and February

I have had SO much fun completing my Project {365} so far!  It has not been a burden at all to have my camera with me 24/7.  In fact, I LOVE IT!! It is so neat to easily SEE all the awesome things we have already experienced in 2011.  I can't wait to see what else this exciting year has to offer!  Feel free to check out my {365} underneath the tab at the top of the blog!

PS- I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Jill at Little Lilah Grace for helping guide me in making my collages!

Railroad Park {Sunday Snapshot}

How is it that on off days, the hours fly by so quickly?

Perry and I just did not have enough time to play last Thursday at the new Railroad Park in Birmingham!

Time with my Litty Bitty is never long enough...

I'm so blessed to be his Mommy!

Perry & Olive {WIL/B&WW}

Perry's cousin Olive had a really "ruff" weekend.

After an emergency vet visit, three shots, and antibiotics,

she was given the all clear to head home and take it easy.

She knew just where to go to relax... Cousin Perry's house.

Mr. P was so sweet and gentle with her.

He rubbed her paw, gave her kisses, and even would tell her, "I ba du Ah li!"

Big Machines {Sunday Snapshot}

This Saturday, we had a blast at the McWayne Center's Big Machines Day.  It was right up Perry's alley!

I thought all the knobs on the fire truck were really pretty- yes, I know.  Spoken like a woman.

Perry riding on the back of the firetruck, with some help from Daddy.

They passed out some yummy frozen yogurt.  My very intelligent little one kept calling it his "cupcake!"

Skilled Professionals Only!

This crane was SO big, we could see all the way under it.

Perry loved playing on the balls and jumping off into all our arms.

Am I in trouble Mommy?

Of course not!! In fact, Daddy helped him create even more mischief!

A little boy that had been watching came up behind Perry to try the same hat trick....
He got in trouble by his parents.  Oops!

Climbing around in the Fox 6 Storm Tracker.
We got into a music conversation with the Meteorologists, so Perry was looking for guitars in the back.  He even told JP Dice that a guitar says "dong, dong, dong."

Family Photo Op

A Dump Truck.

A Spider Crane that Daddy and Grampie thought was pretty cool.

Honk!! Honk!!

Baby Rio

To say it has been a busy week is quite an understatement.  We played outside all weekend long, then I kicked off the week at school  with Valentine’s on Monday, a walk through on Tuesday, my second observation on Wednesday, a fire drill on Thursday, and Progress Reports due today.  Also, two of my friends Leigh Ann P. and Leigh Ann H. both had their babies!!  (So if anyone is keeping tabs, the TWENTY-SEVEN friends that I had pregnant have now dwindled down to a mere TWENTY-FIVE!!!  Tell me that is not CrAzInEsS??!!)  On Wednesday, Justin and I got the opportunity to visit Leigh Ann H., who is a part of our playgroup.    Sweet Rio was only about four hours old when we got to hold him and just looked absolutely ADORABLE in the snuggly fire truck gown we gave him!  Perry loved hanging out with Sophia for a little while and getting to kiss Baby Rio!  In fact, he has been talking about Baby Rio ever since Wednesday night!  (Thank goodness Justin and I have a firm adoption plan in place!  Otherwise, Rio’s cuteness and Perry’s persuasiveness might get the better of us!  But alas, we don’t plan to be number 26 any time soon! ;)

The Kelly Moore Bag

I’ve stated many times the many reasons that I love blogging… meeting new people, getting photog advice from blogger friends, keeping a journal of all my favorite moments, giveaways (which I’m planning to host one in the near future), and finding fantastic products from blogger friends who are so sweet and excited to share their new finds!

Which leads me to- Justin has been fussing at me for MONTHS now because I carry my camera EVERYWHERE… which means that I’m throwing a pricey piece of equipment into my purse and lugging it around with everything else that gets lost in that black hole. He has been begging me to carry it in its case. Ok- that thing is A) U-G-L-Y (And it ain’t got no alibi! Hehe- had to throw that in there) and B) I’m not lugging around TWO bags… one of which is U-G-L-Y!! So… it has continued to reside in my purse when not snapping away, much to my sweet husband’s dismay.

But as I was catching up on some of my FAVORITE blogs today, I saw the CUTEST camera bag that my (lucky) blogger friend Shay received as a birthday gift. I AM IN LOVE! (If you are reading this, thanks so much for showing us your new, adorable bag!) It is big enough for me to double up the use and have a purse/camera bag in one. GEN-IOUS!

So, I hopped on over to Kelly's SITE to check ‘em out and picked out my fave- The Kelly Moore Hobo Bag in Walnut. I think it is the perfect size- not too big, not too small, and the color matches one of my favorite pair of boots!

But wait there’s MOORE…seriously people, I crack myself up… You can go to Kelly’s blog to get information on how to receive $30 off your next order!! But hurry, because the offer ends at the end of February!

Tangle Fairies- {Sunday} Snapshot

I have been participating in the Joy to Love photo challenge for February.  Since I'm truckin' along and barely keeping up, I'm probably not going to post ALL of the challenges, but this one is just too cute.  The theme was "What They Look Like."  I immediately thought of what Perry looks like first thing in the morning in his typical mismatched jammies, paci, and tangle fairies!  There are several things that Perry does that remind me of my little sister, Melissa.  Though he used to be quite pleasant when he wakes up, things have changed a bit.  Now, when I wake him, he whines, turns over, buries his head in the pillow and screams, "Briiiiii!!! (bright) Offfffffff! (referring to the light).  It's SO Melissa.  Plus, he has the cutest frizzy blond bed head (just like Melissa used to when she was little) that tangle fairies have played in all night along.  I could just eat him up.

WILW- The Joy Of {Love}

I am LOVING that I'm participating in a Photography “Class” called The Joy of Love.  Every morning, I get an email with a photography assignment and tips.  It is a lot of fun and the best part is, its free!  You can still sign up HERE

The theme for February 1, was “What They Do.”

Since I don’t typically blog about Mr. J, I thought I would do a cute little tribute to him.

Justin is super creative, crafty, and resourceful.  It is no surprise to me that his job entails fixing things.  Big things, to be exact.  You see, he is a mechanic who gets dirty and dingy nearly every single day.  He comes home all the time spouting out all these Chinese words big, mechanical terms and how something was broke and now it’s not.  Woo Hoo!

Mr. Perry thinks Daddy has the coolest job in the whole wide world!!

Today’s theme is “How They Look.”  I have an idea in mind, but I’ll have to wait until tomorrow to post the final “ta-da.”
