It was so much fun seeing the nativity scene-despite the frigid temperature!
Every year that we have done something similar to this, I always try to truly imagine Mary and Joseph huddled together in the stable, trying to keep the Savior warm and cozy, and how scared and frustrated they must have been, knowing this was all they could provide for their new little baby and Lord of Earth and Heaven.
The birth of Christ is such a miracle and quite a beautiful story! We have really tried to instill in Perry that Christmas is about Baby Jesus’ birthday and not just Santa…
Though I’m not gonna lie- He’s pretty pumped about the possibility of that jolly ole’ fella bringing him a tractor or two, three, four…who’s counting? Right?!
