Today, my sweet friend Amanda, and I had lunch at one of our favorite family places- Munoz! It seriously doesn’t get any better than a good friend and Mexican food. Though we had a wonderful time together, our lunch was definitely bittersweet. Amanda and her husband, Michael, are adopting an adorable little boy, Taylor (Tay), from South Korea, as well. But, they are moving to Louisiana next week to be closer to family. We will miss them SO much but are also so excited for them! And to add to all the excitement, they got an unexpected email last week informing them that they will most likely travel to bring Tay home in mid-February/Early March!! We can’t wait to do lunch with Amanda, Michael, and Tay one day soon in LA!!
We also went to a party tonight to celebrate our friend Ron’s 50th birthday!!! Ron and his wife Kim are two people that we love and look up to so much. Ron plays the piano (he’s AMAZING!!!) in the praise band with my dad, and Kim is a friend and former Sunday school teacher of mine and Justin’s. They are both beautiful people inside and out. We always love hanging out with them and hearing their funny stories of growing up and dating. To celebrate, we enjoyed DELICIOUS BBQ and then sang lots of old-timey hymns per everyone’s requests. Happy Birthday Mr. Ron!! May God bless you with many more years of happiness and love!!
