The Family That Plays Together

This past weekend, Justin and I decided on a whim to take Perry bowling.  {Read: an evening full of cheap family fun.}  Right?

Wrong.

In case you are also living under a rock, bowling now costs just shy of an arm, a leg, and your first born child.

Geez.

Thankfully, we had so much fun it was worth every penny-of the one game we could bring ourselves to purchase.

They now also have these really cool rolly things that the little ones can use to help assist them with bowling-along with the bumpers to fend off too many gutter balls.

P enjoyed using it about half the time, and the other half, he preferred the Granny roll.

Justin did me the pleasure of capturing my graceful bowling stance.

Despite my embarrassment of the above photo, I'm pleased to announce that that very bowl put up this wee bit of eye candy!  Woop-woop!!

Bowling is something we will definitely be doing more of as a family.... in the comfort of our own kitchen...using P's bowling set he got last Christmas!  {Thanks Grammie and Grampie!}
