Friday in Korea {Sunday Snapshot, on a Monday}

Do not be afraid, for I am with you.
I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west.
Isaiah 43:5

Taylor looking at the airplane that is finally going to take him from his birth land of Korea to his sweet Daddy in Louisiana, completing his new  forever family!

I have been going through all of my Korea photos trying to get them all organized, blogged, and printed.  Friday was our last day in Korea, but unfortunately, it isn't documented as well as the other days.

For Amanda, Taylor, and I, Friday in Korea was spent in the ER due to a very scary seizure that morning as we were packing up.  We were exceptionally worried about Tay's health and that we were going to miss our flights home.  Thankfully, we were able to quickly produce a plan of action thanks to the social workers at Holt Korea, the Korean doctor and pediatrician, a few different US doctors via phone calls, and a whole lot of praying!

However, once we made it to the airport in just the nick of time, we found out that our flight was delayed by five hours, causing all of our connecting flights to be messed up.  We solved that problem by flying into San Francisco and spending an extra night, then flying to different connecting states, with all three of us finally getting to our families late Saturday evening.

We could not be more thankful for all the people across the country praying us home, and I'm happy to report that Taylor is doing GREAT with his new family!  He is a happy, healthy, and ADORABLE little toddler!  I will forever be grateful to Amanda and Michael for entrusting me to help out Amanda and Tay on this amazing journey.  I feel beyond blessed to have spent that time seeing the adoption process first hand, meeting the amazing social workers at Holt Korea, and enjoying the culture of my daughter's birth country.  I dream about going back to Korea each and every day.

Until that day...
