Journey to Jack {Sunday Snapshot}

Ya'll.

Life.

How do YOU do it?

It is C-R-A-Z-Y.

(My sweet friend Cat took some awesome family photos for us!)

We seem to have drawn the short end of the stick lately.  We know great things are in store and its just the enemy is attacking, but this week consisted of my car needing towing-thankfully just a completely dead battery and my external hard drive crashing in the middle of me moving photos over before I had a chance to burn them to a CD.  So, off the the external-hard-drive-doctor it went.  PRAYING they can recover those treasures for us!

BUT (being very vague here...) on an extremely exciting note, we finished the LAST batch of papers we are responsible for and mailed them off this week!! Eeeeek!!  SUPER exciting!  Please pray everything is there, its filled out correctly, it makes it to its destination safely, and is translated and sent to its final destination quickly, where then Jack will wait for his vEry imPortant next part of the process to occur. ;)  We would LOVE for this to occur in 2013 and pray that it does, but it would be a miracle.

Thankfully... I just happen to know someone in the miracle biz!

And... we have a lot of praying friends.

Honestly though, through all these struggles and the wait, we are holding up pretty well (at least at this second).  Since being matched, I think I've cried for about thirty seconds, three different times, but I'm pretty quick to get myself together and remember my God's got this.

And He gives the sweetest hugs along the way.

Outweighing the bad, this week also held lots of sweet, sweet moments for our family.

We FINALLY "met" Miss "Sarah's" new family!!!  Not only are they absolutely FABULOUS, but they are choosing for her middle name to be Grace and her new Mommy's name is...wait for it..... RUBY!  I think she has found the most PERFECT family EVER and we are beyond thankful we have this little God-hug snuggled perfectly into our/her story.  I can't wait to grow our friendship with them and watch their journey to their beautiful new daughter unfold...and if that's not cool enough, I believe we have a very good chance of traveling close, if not together.  Fingers crossed!

We also had the pants blessed off us with not one, not two, but SEVEN new photos from a sweet friend!!  Our little guy is C-U-T-E and P-R-E-C-I-O-U-S!!!  My oh my he is P-E-R-F-E-C-T!!!  Our friend's little girl must think so too as one photo captures a little smack-a-roo from her!  Too sweet.  We are forever grateful and will cherish these photos for a lifetime!
